Mango Baobab Smoothie

Mango Baobab Smoothie Bowl

 6 Ingredients

Serves 1

  • 1  Banana
  • 1 Mango Ripe
  • 1 cup Mango, frozen
  • 1 handful Spinach
  • 1/2 cup milk (preferably non-dairy)
  • 1 tbsp baobab powder

Mix all ingredients together 

Garnish with fruit of your choice

Ingredients

  • 1 pear - chopped
  • 1 orange - peeled
  • 3 tbsp walnuts
  • 1 tsp baobab powder
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup ice

Mix all ingredients and blend.  Enjoy!

Baobab Chocolate Chip Scones

Baobab Chocolate Chip Scones

  • Ingredients  :
  • 2 3/4 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 ½ tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp ground ginger
  • ¼ cup Baobab Superfruit Powder
  • ½ cup chocolate chips
  • 1 stick cold butter
  • 1 cup butter milk
  • 2 Tablespoons fruit spread

Method :

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees. 
  • In a large bowl mix with a wooden spoon flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, baking soda, ground ginger, and baobab powder. Cut in cold butter with a pastry knife. Make a well in the center and add buttermilk. With the wooden spoon mix the dry ingredients with the buttermilk until all ingredients are wet and can be taken out of the bowl. Form a big ball with the dough and cut in half. Make two flat circles, about 1 inch thick and set next to each other. On one half, spread jam. Take the other half and put on top so the jam is sandwiched in between both pieces. Cut into 6 triangles and place on a cookie sheet. Put in the oven for about 30 minutes or until golden brown. Enjoy!

Vegan Baobab Strawberry Almond Smoothie

Vegan Baobab Strawberry Almond Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons Atacora Baobab Powder
  • 2 cups Almond Milk (or other plant based milk of choice)
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • 1/2 cup almonds
  • 1/3 cup ice

Instructions:

Place the almonds in a small bowl and cover with water. Soak the almonds overnight or for at least 6 hours.

In the morning, drain and rinse the almonds. Blend the almonds and almond milk in a high-speed blender on very high speed for about 2 minutes until the almonds are completely dissolved in the almond milk.

Next, add the strawberries, banana, baobab powder and ice and blend until smooth and creamy!

Baobab Vegan Raw Lemon Bites with Coconut Flakes

  • Ingredients:1 cup raw unsalted cashews 1/2 cup shredded coconut 1 small lemon or 1/2 large, juice and zest 1 tablespoon raw honey, agave or other sweetener of choice 2 tablespoons coconut oil, melted 1/2 teaspoon pure lemon extract * 1-2 teaspoons baobab powder – optional (I used this one – affiliate link) A pinch of turmeric for coloring – optional

* the specific amount depends on what kind you use. You can leave it out and add the zest from another lemon instead.Directions:

  1. Start by adding the cashews and shredded coconut to a food processor and pulse until the mixture has turned into a fine meal.
  2. Pour the mixture into a bowl and add the rest of the ingredients. Stir until everything is well combined and roll the mixture into small balls. I rolled half of the lemon bites in shredded coconut, but it was purely for decorational purposes so you can leave that step out if you like.
  3. Put the lemon bites in a lidded container lined with baking paper and place them in the freezer for at least 20 minutes before serving, enjoy!
